The next day is always rough, but I have never regretted staying up all night lost in conversation.

Conversation doesn’t make one lost, but it does move those who participate to another, possibly unfamiliar and outside existence. Though the words exchanged may all be based on events, people, concepts that exist in reality–that type of conversation between two people exists separately on its own. The part that makes the next day rough, is returning to reality.
